Community Events

Our commitment to the health of the people of this region does not stop at the doors of our hospitals  it continues out into the communities of Mercer, Bucks and Burlington Counties. Because we know that the best way to keep you healthy is to give you the information you need to make the right choices, day in and day out.

That’s why we run support groups, screening updates, educational lectures and seminars from our surgeons and staff – much of which can be accessed directly from this website.

Educational Outreach

Cancer can affect anyone at any time. That’s why we partner with diverse community organizations throughout the year to provide educational presentations on the latest in cancer prevention, early detection, screening guidelines, diagnosis, treatments, and clinical trials. In addition, our cancer specialists provide information and education on a range of cancer-related topics. If you would like to bring cancer education to members of your organization, contact us at 609.303.4021.

Community Partnerships

In some communities, residents face challenges in accessing high-quality health care. We have established partnerships with organizations like the Trenton Health Team to improve the health and well-being of communities. Through these partnerships, Capital Health is helping to break down barriers for improved access to cancer services and programs.

Because early detection of cancer is the best way to improve survival rates, partnering with New Jersey Cancer Early Education and Detection (NJCEED) enables eligible New Jersey residents to free breast, cervical, prostate, or colorectal cancer screenings – many who would not otherwise have access to cancer screenings, including the uninsured and underinsured.

Capital Health Cancer Center is a
Partner with OncLive.
