Robotic-Assisted Surgery

What is Robotic-Assisted Surgery?

This minimally invasive form of surgery allows our doctors to operate on a patient’s tissue or organs through a series of very small incisions. And because it uses smaller incisions, patients are able to experience faster recovery times and minimal scarring compared to traditional surgery.

While the word “robotic” is included in the name, it is your surgeon who performs and controls the surgery through the use of da Vinci® advanced technology. The da Vinci® Surgical System allows doctors the ability to operate on patients with more precision and accuracy than ever before.
