David Horvick, MD

Radiation Oncology

Dr. David Horvick is a board-certified radiation oncologist with more than 35 years of experience in academic and community cancer care. A graduate of Columbia University and Thomas Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Horvick completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Throughout his career, Dr. Horvick has held numerous leadership and teaching positions, including Physician-in-Chief and Clinical Director of Radiation Oncology at Abington Memorial Hospital, where he also directed the Radiation Oncology Residency Training Program—serving as a primary clinical teaching affiliate for both the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University College of Medicine.

Dr. Horvick has been an active investigator in Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) clinical trials and has published and co-authored several peer-reviewed studies on topics such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma, esophageal cancer, and breast conservation surgery. His work has also been featured in Cancer, Contemporary Surgery, and Archives of Surgery.

Recognized as a “Top Doctor” by U.S. News & World Report and South Jersey Magazine, Dr. Horvick is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and the American Medical Association (AMA).
